Lokomat Basic Clinical Training
This training is mandatory when purchasing a Lokomat. Passing the clinical training successfully allows the participating clinicians to use the Lokomat with patients. The clinicians learn to treat patients safely on the Lokomat and will be certified as “Lokomat Users”.
Precondition: Participants must have a medical or paramedical background.

This training is intended for certified Lokomat Users. It takes place several months after the Basic Clinical Training and covers advanced Lokomat application topics. The clinicians learn how to treat patients most safely, effectively and efficiently and will, after successfully passing the education, be certified as “Lokomat Trainers”. Lokomat Trainers are allowed to educate other clinicians of the same facility on the use of the Lokomat (to become Lokomat Users).
Precondition: Participants must have passed either the Basic Clinical Trianing (certified Lokomat Users) or the internal training of the facility by a certified trainer successfully.

If you already own a Lokomat but you want to certify new users or trainers, or you want to refresh the knowledge or skills of the existing users or trainers, you can book this training.
The following training types are available:

| Companionship | An experienced Hocoma Instructor accompanies existing users or trainers during their clinical practice with the device and supports the application and gives practical advices (no new certification) |
The Clinical Training will be conducted by a certified Hocoma Instructor.

User Meetings
Hocoma’s support doesn’t end after purchasing and training a device. In order to stay in close contact and exchange with the clinicians who work with Hocoma devices on a daily basis, Hocoma provides Workshops for device users in order to ensure a most efficient and effective use of the devices. These User Meetings are tailored to the needs and interests of the clinicians in a certain region and may cover exchange of experience amongst clinicians, support for the integration of new technologies etc.
