Software Features
Assessment and Reporting Tools
At the end of every training or assessment session for balance, gait, and gait adaptability, results are automatically stored and in-depth reports can be generated.
Balance Assessment
The available balance assessments:
- Limits of stability: Dynamic mediolateral and anterior-posterior weight shifting
- Postural stability: Static postural control
Gait Assessment
Evaluate a patient’s gait pattern using information such as spatio-temporal parameters and video recordings.
Gait Adaptability Assessment
Determines the baseline level of several walking adaptability tasks such as visually guided stepping, tandem walking, obstacle avoidance, slalom walking, reaction to unexpected situations, speed adaptations, and, if applicable, walking while performing an auditory, cognitive dual task.
Training Exercise Applications
C-Mill offers unique training exercises for balance, gait, and gait adaptability using virtual and augmented reality to its advantage; however, it can also be used for simple treadmill walking.
Train foot placement / Belt projections
C-Mill applications are projected onto the belt’s surface, allowing a wide variety of treatment goals to be achieved with immediate feedback on performance. Train a patient’s foot placement and gait symmetry with step targets, show obstacles to teach a patient to avoid them safely, or train gait stability with slalom or tandem applications. In order to provide your patient with an enjoyable, functional, and motivating training, various virtual tracks are available.
Train to look forward / VR Suite
Train patients across a broader range of the rehabilitation process by triggering them to look forward.
Balance suite
Focus on balance improvements with the games and assessments available in the balance suite.
