Constant feedback and motivation at hand

Valedo App tracks your performance and progress, checks the precision and accuracy of your moves, and lets you share the results with your physical therapist. Available both for iOs and Android smart devices.

    More than 50 Therapeutic Exercises

The therapeutic exercises were developed for you by Hocoma, movement scientists, physical therapists and physicians. Through more than 50 games you will perform 17 unique movements and train all the deep stabilising back muscles that are key for a healthy, fit back.

My overall low back pain is almost gone completely and my range of motion has increased drastically
I’ve had low back pain and dysfunction for over 35 years due to many low back injuries from heavy weight training and being a collegiate discus, hammer, and shot putter. All in all I’ve experienced more than 100 back injuries. I’ve had low back pain and dysfunction for over 35 years ... I started using Valedo three months ago and I am still fascinated by the technology. What a great idea about utilizing therapeutic-based low back exercises in a gaming format! Of course, I was also very curious to see if Valedo would have a positive impact on my back and my mobility. And I have to say, my low back is definitely feeling better and better. My overall low back pain is almost gone completely and my range of motion has increased drastically from using the Valedo assessment tool. What surprised me the most was how fast this product worked on me. After only one week my Chiropractor noticed the difference and has continually noticed my improvement. This also is proof for me that the exercises are truly beneficial because they incorporate movements that I wouldn’t normally complete on a daily basis. I have been learning minute control over my movements and this has really helped with the control of my low back. I would highly recommend Valedo to anyone with low back pain or dysfunction because it works. What gives me additional peace of mind is the fact that Valedo is safe to use as the Valedo software guides me very effectively through the exercises. The visual experience is very easy to follow and the feedback by watching the little robot it really provides an excellent experience. I really enjoy the different levels of difficulty, this provides a constant challenge to improve my point scores. I would highly recommend Valedo to anyone with low back pain or dysfunction because it works. It is fun and educational and most important people will complete the therapeutic exercises much more frequently than they would normally.

“I’ve had a herniated disc since 2013, and as a result, I have chronic pain in my lumbar spine, hips, butt, and obliques, as well as tightness in my shoulders and neck – basically everywhere! … I felt less stiff after just three sessions. Sometimes I slack off on my physical therapy because it can be boring and repetitive, but I found the game aspect of this fun. It made me want to come back for more.” - Lauren, 27
It is an excellent tool that makes it significantly easier to know that therapeutic exercises are done correctly
I was excited to unwrap the Valedo sensors. Physiotherapy is a vital part of my day and as someone plagued with back pain, struggling with core stability and muscular control, I was hopeful that the Valedo would help me improve with a program of exercises I can follow on the iPad whilst the sensors that temporarily stick to the lower back and sternum would provide feedback. I put the sensors on, calibrated them in the app and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was not a fitness app, but an interactive game where the sensors and my body was the controller. The game is simple. My little robot was controlled with specific movements and I had to follow another robot in front of me on the trail he left. The trail curved left and right, up and down, twisted and wound its way through ocean floors, desert valleys and other background terrains. Obstacles were quite close to the trail, like exploding bombs, hit them and lose points. The movement component changed depending on the exercise selected at the start. It started simple then worked up to some combinations of bending, turning and twisting whilst standing, sitting or kneeling (four point kneeling) on the floor. It is an excellent tool that makes it significantly easier to know that therapeutic exercises are done correctly and the personal metrics it collects and displays works great as an incentive. Exercises are gradually unlocked and the app keeps track of all personal analytics. There is the option to set specific target goals around how long I wanted to exercise each session and how many session a week did I want to commit to and send push notifications to an iOS device. The application is easy to use and makes back exercises that are often tedious more fun and less work.

Valedo is a great gift, that actually help make your back healthier, which I love!
Well, I didn’t know this, but 8 out of 10 people suffer from back pain, so you likely know someone who would love this gift. This is Valedo, a personal medical device that takes exercises - like the ones you would do with a physical therapist - and puts them into fun, interactive games on your devices. You’re guided through these virtual “worlds” while moving your body in ways that support long-term back health and pain reduction. It’s makes a great gift because it’s a cool new technology that’s portable and can actually help make your back healthier, which I love!

This gaming wearable helps relieve back pain
I’ve been using Valedo for the past week, and over that time I’ve noticed the muscles in my lower back feeling a bit stronger. I have occasional lower back pain, but it hasn’t been flaring up lately, so I can’t say specifically whether or not Valedo solved my back pain for me. The sneaky part? These “gaming” moves are actually exercises that are meant to strengthen your back muscles, which can reduce back pain.

In a few words: It's fun, entertaining and amusing.
I have back problems for quite some time - and no one can tell me why. I have read a report on the Valedo and bought it. When I played Valedo first, I used my iPad Mini, now I have switched to the iPad. I particularly like the animation and the structure. The exercises are clearly explained, the software is easy to use, the robot warns me when I do movements incorrectly and the game is well designed. There is still a bit of getting used to perform exercises on the floor, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes. In a few words: It's fun, entertaining and amusing. Is quite useful to be able to take the Valedo everywhere. It's so small, light and handy, I'll take it on vacation. In a few words: It's fun, entertaining and amusing. If my husband ever gets back pain, then we have the Valedo at home!

Small, precise movements with great effect
I suffer from back pain since I'm 16 years old. As a result, I was often at the physiotherapist, although irregularly - but once the pain was gone, I have not continued the treatment. I then read a report about Valedo and thought I would give it a try. Generally, I rather belong to the people who buy something full of enthusiasm, then try it a few times and then put it away again. Above all - if I am not in pain, I do not think about exercising. My main problem was always the motivation to perform specific back exercises - and this over time. I have now and then done exercises that my physical therapist has told me to do, however this was not only boring, but also not satisfactory for me. I had no possibility to check whether the exercises are performed correctly. I did it to my best knowledge - but was always left without feedback which was very unsettling for me. The great thing about Valedo is that the system gives me the confidence that all I do, I do right. The feedback is immediate and allows me to correct my movements quickly. The exercises are just like the exercises that I know from physiotherapy - small, precise movements with great effect. Besides, I can share my training evaluation with my physiotherapist and evaluate it with her. The improved my training even more and since then I can train certain areas even more. If I had to describe the Valedo? In short: Playful, cool, funny, animating and motivates me to exercise more. And what I like the most? Flying with the robot through landscapes

With this device I trust that my patient's exercises will be monitored and can be properly executed
For years I have been concerned with my patients physical conditioning. Writing exercise protocols and demonstrating them in the office is my profession. Improperly done, these exercises can be not only ineffective but possibly aggravate their condition. With this device I trust that my patient's exercises will be monitored and can be properly executed. Valedo has eliminated my worry. It has taken second guessing out of how to strengthen your lower back at home. With this device I trust that my patient's exercises will be monitored and can be properly executed. Valedo allows a practitioner to help the patient retrain their repetitive movements in the comfort and security of their own home. It is a fool proof device using two wireless motion sensors. The software is easy to understand and follow, fun to use, patient friendly and guides the user through the exercise movements step by step, correcting inappropriate positioning. Additionally, it tracks training progress and information and the training report can be shared directly with the practitioner by mail. I would recommend that corporate health care teams create Valedo workstations throughout their office complexes. These Valedo stations will allow employees 15 minutes of easy movement which will keep their spine muscles active and healthy through the work day. Valedo provides a simple and clear way to create proper and corrective movements -- early in life, after injury and as a preventive tool. It could be implemented easily in schools and homes around the world.
