Dr. Jörg Schultze-Amberger
Head Physician, Neurological Early rehabilitation, MEDIAN Berlin
Dr. Schultze-Amberger studied human medicine at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He subsequently completed his entire residency as a specialist in neurology at the Department of Neurology at Charité Berlin. His clinical specialties were and are neurological intensive care and vascular neurology.
In 2006, he moved to the LKH Klagenfurt/Austria as a senior physician. There he oversaw an acute neurological intensive care unit and at the same time built up a neurological rehabilitation unit (corresponding to phase B in Germany). Since 2008, Mr. Schultze-Amberger worked for eight years as a senior consultant at Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann Potsdam before being appointed to his current position.

After completing his studies, the rehabilitation technology expert and physiotherapist worked for several years in physiotherapy practices and rehabilitation centers & a leading robotic device company.
In 2013, he started his own business, YOUwalk, which at the time was the only company in Europe that offered mobile gait therapy. In 2018, he founded tech2people, a unique outpatient robotics-based neurotherapy center in Austria, with Gregor Demblin and Michael Seitlinger. He also works for various rehab technology manufacturers as a clinical consultant and is currently pursuing an MBA in Digital Healthcare Management.
