Valencia, April 30, 2015 – This summer, Valencia is the place to be for therapists, clinicians, engineers and scientists as the second edition of the international conference Rehab Week takes place. With its emphasis on innovative future technologies for neurological and virtual rehabilitation, Rehab Week is one of the major events in this field and presents once again a wide range of different interactive workshops, discussions and renowned international speakers.
Fusion of New Technologies to Enhance Clinical Outcome
Over the last 20 years, the use of technological solutions in the field of neurorehabilitation exploded. We gained a deeper knowledge on their efficiency and effectiveness and the single or combined use of interventions based on robotic assistance, virtual reality, functional electrical stimulation or sensor technology has grown in acceptance. Today, new technologies are seen as a valuable supplement to further improve the clinical success of conventional therapy. How can these new technologies be combined to achieve the best possible results? How do you get back on your feet after a Spinal Cord Injury? What helps you to improve after Stroke? During Rehab Week, experts will answer these questions by presenting and discussing recent developments, focusing on merging different technologies to provide cutting-edge treatment to further improve the recovery of people with disabilities.
Rehab Week – Three Conferences in One Location
The upcoming Rehab Week will focus on the challenges and benefits of combining different new technologies. It offers participants a valuable platform to discuss and learn about latest developments, technologies and possibilities in the rehabilitation of diseases and injuries of the central nervous system. Participants can expand their knowledge in the field of neurological rehabilitation and experience how a fusion of these new technologies can enhance clinical outcome.
Registrations can be made for any of the three conferences individually or, more conveniently, for the whole Rehab Week to freely switch between conferences, keynote lectures, sessions and workshops.
