Since 2001, when Hocoma brought the world’s first robotic driven gait orthosis on the market, the training with a Lokomat system has established itself as an effective intervention for improving over-ground walking in neurologic patients. Hocoma’s first product, the LokomatPro is being successfully applied in more than 250 clinics worldwide. In strong collaboration with clinical research partners, Hocoma has now developed an additional and more compact version of the Lokomat. The LokomatNanos has been developed with the needs of patients and clinics in mind and provides all essential features to help patients trigger great improvements. The LokomatNanos will be available by July 2010*.
