The recent rapid development of technologies for rehabilitation presents clinicians with a broad range of choices for maximizing recovery outcomes. This is exciting, since it means that there are many new opportunities to augment patients’ rehabilitation. However, the choice of which technology to use may feel overwhelming. From big robotic machines to small wearable devices, new technologies can help deliver different therapy goals to diverse patient populations within different types of rehabilitation facilities.
