The ValedoShape is a compact device that allows computer assisted analysis and display of the spinal shape and mobility. The ValedoShape offers the following functionality:

1. Assessment
Guided along the spinal column, the ValedoShape captures the contours of the spine and transfers the clinical data wirelessly to the Valedo tablet PC. The included software supports the clinical eye by monitoring the spinal shape and presenting the results in 3D graphics.

2. Data collection
Compared to the conventional spine measurement with x-ray images, the ValedoShape provides data with an excellent reliability and a high degree of validity. Not using any radiation, the ValedoShape records data in a patient friendly and non invasive way.

3. Documentation
With the ValedoShape any desired amount of data can be captured for each patient. The automatically stored documentation of regularly repeated assessments offers accurate monitoring of the therapy progress and therefore supports clinical decision making.
