Armeo®Boom - Introduction

The ArmeoBoom is based on an overhead sling suspension system with low inertia to provide an adjustable amount of Arm Weight Support and allow patients to perform self-directed, free movement exercises of the impaired arm in a large 3-D workspace.
The system is lightweight and compact, easy to transport and to stow away, and quick and simple to set up. Once the system is adjusted, the knowledgeable patient can easily operate the system on his own.
The Augmented Performance Feedback for the ArmeoBoom enhances the therapy by a wide range of motivating, game-like exercises, with some simulating activities of daily living.
